Wedding Design: Timeless, Coastal Wedding at L’Auberge Del Mar

Directly from our “Wedding Talk” Segment on Instagram: Walk through the design and planning process of this gorgeous Timeless and Coastal wedding with one of our experienced lead planners, Jasmine.

Hey everyone, today we’re going to take a look at Ellie and Joe’s beautiful wedding day at L’auberge Del Mar here in San Diego.

Lets dive right in.

As we began the design process, their main focus was really to foster a fun and exciting environment their loved ones would enjoy. We aimed for an impactful, yet timeless, coastal wedding theme.

Teaming up with Zeyda from the Little Fleur Co., we crafted a beautiful coastal hued floral arrangement theme for our ceremony on the pacific terrace.

This space was further enhanced by delicate italian ruscus on the existing market lighting.

Ellie, our bride, envisioned a unique aisle, so we used a clean white vinyl flooring by Chivari Chairs of San Diego. In addition, it was adorned with lush aisle markers, greenery and tall candles, creating a romantic path.

Seating arrangements were set for around 200 guests, and we set them to curve toward the altar, fostering a sense of intimacy.

After a heartfelt ceremony, we transitioned to cocktail hour on the lower sunset terrace. On the terrace we incorporated elegant blue and white Chinoiserie details as a tribute to both of their mothers.

With L’Auberge’s generous amenities as our foundation, we transformed the ceremony space into a reception haven. By repurposing aisle markers, the floral arch and greenery cleverly we really we able to optimize our resources.

Modern touches like Sweet Blossom’s matte white table numbers and BBJ’s duet blue mist napkins added finesse.

Additionally, we incorporated customized signage by Sweet Paper in La Jolla showcased the coastal essence with delicate waves and L’Auberges unique charm.
