Heather and Jaima’s Contemporary L’Auberge Del Mar Wedding

Heather and Jaima met in their college town of Eugene, Oregon in 2013. After graduating, Heather and Jaima spent time enjoying the sunshine in San Diego and then experiencing all the seasons Oregon has to offer until settling in their new home.

Heather and Jaima’s engagement took place in Del Mar, CA, where they had one of their first dates. They were thrilled to return to celebrate alongside all their friends and loved ones.

Heather and Jaima worked with Principal Planner Jasmine Serrano. Upon introduction, Jasmine immediately clicked with Heather setting the tone for an incredibly smooth journey through the planning process.

Heather and Jaima, were interested in a classic, elegant design that emphasized the beauty L’Auberge Del Mar’s property naturally offers. Together, we reimagined a timeless wedding theme of whites and greens. We married this everlasting idea with a balance of modernity and minimalism for Heather and Jaima.

The ceremony took place on the Pacific Terrace beneath a lush, cathedral style floral arch adorned with Texas smilax, carnations, lisianthus, hydrangeas, hints of roses and larkspur. Our bride wore an A-line wedding dress with a petite white belt. Modern, elegant, CHIC! The bridesmaids wore variations of sage satin dresses and the gentlemen all in sleek black tie.

Immediately following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Sunset Terrace while we flipped the Pacific Terrace into a romantic haven for the dinner reception. We lined the center of the terrace with a long, family style, dining table for our wedding party. Modern bud vases with white blooms, tapered candles and votives ran the length of this table while low compote floral arrangements adorned the tops of round tables on the outer terrace.

Being able to witness Heather and Jaima’s private first reaction to the reception space fully completed was such a special moment for our team. Watch the video below to check it out for yourself.
